HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Since 1994 area youngsters and adults have frequented the Los Olivos Dance Gallery (LODG), a local institution “where students learn to love dance”. Here, they explore the world of motion and music while experiencing the joy of work well done and the thrill of artistic achievement.

Located on a quiet street off Grand Avenue, the airy studio offers the highest quality of dance floors, innovative choreography, annual performances and their staff. Kids start dancing as early as three years old, often continue into their teens and sometimes beyond. Students from LODG have been featured in the Olympic opening ceremonies, attended prestigious schools such as Juilliard, American Ballet Theater, Alonzo King’s Lines, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and joined professional companies in New York City. They have had guest choreographers visit, such as Emmy Award winner Wade Robson, Christina "Pasty" Grady, Robert Sund, Joe Istre, and many others. The Dance Gallery is known for its professionalism and care for their students and families.
